I’ve got a right to speak my mind, to disagree, to say my piece. Sound familiar? When we’re asked to do those things that we don’t like (Things that don’t violate God’s will) we tend to be very vocal. Sometimes we even make judgments about the person asking while mumbling and grumbling about the request. What should or actions be in these matters?
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.” Phil 2:14-16
Yeah I know, I think I felt the same way when I first read this, “God you’re going to have to help me with this one!” However God knows best because when you change your focus and begin to live your life this way you do shine while feeling better about both the task and yourself and God gets the glory. Wow, thank you Lord.
